Dr. Pao-Lien Lai is an associate professor of the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Dong Hwa University, Hualien, Taiwan, R.O.C. She received the BS degree in Electronic Engineering from Feng Chia University in 1990, the MS degree in Electrical Engineering form National Tsing Hua University in 1992, and the PhD degree in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, R.O.C. in 2004, respectively. Her research interests include graph theory, interconnection networks, algorithms, parallel and fault-tolerant computing.
